The nuclear charge pickup cross sections of ,84,Kr on CH,2, C, and Al targets are investigated using CR-39 nuclear track detector at the highest energy of 395 MeV/u. The cross sections for H are calculated from those measured on C and CH,2, targets. The dependence of the charge pickup cross section on target mass is studied.
