摘要:The CBM Experiment converges a crucial part of the QCD phase structure, 500 < μB <= 800 MeV, region that connects the collision’s dynamics to astro-nuclear physics. After a brief introduction of the QCD phase structure, I will discuss the status of CBM Experiment at FAIR. The focus will be given on the detector construction and key physics measurements. I would like to stress that a systematic study of collectivity, criticality, hyper-nuclei production and di-lepton yields as a function of the baryon density is the key to understand the QCD phase structure.

报告人简介:Nu Xu is a world-renown experimental nuclear physicist. He has been working in STAR Experiment at BNL (US), CBM Experiment at GSI/FAIR (Germany) and CEE Experiment at IMP (China) on the physics of the strong interaction phase structure including the search for the illusive QCD critical point.
